House rent party

Algo sobre las house rent partys

Harlemites soon discovered that meeting these doubled, and sometimes tripled, rents was not so easy. They began to think of someway to meet their ever increasing deficits. Someone evidently got the idea of having a few friends in as paying party guests a few days before the landlord's scheduled monthly visit. It was a happy; timely thought. The guests had a good time and entered wholeheartedly into the spirit of the party. Besides, it cost each individual very little, probably much less than he would have spent in some public amusement place. Besides, it was a cheap way to help a friend in need. It was such a good, easy way out of one's difficulties that others decided to make use of it. Thus was the Harlem rent-party born. . . .

Blues party - rent house edition

La propuesta para esta vez es hundirse un poco mas en la noche. Buscando recuperar el espíritu de las house rent partys nos juntamos en la casa de Laura Daicz (que gentilmente se ofrece).

El próximo sábado 16 a las 23 horas.

La idea es divertirnos, juntarnos un rato y jugar con blues toda la noche.

Blues Evening

Esto no es ni una practica ni una fiesta.

Con la excusa de jugar y de bailar, de escuchar música y tomar vino, es que proponemos esta reunión.

Unas horas de blues en Espacio Kabuki. Un rato de música y de baile.

Bienvenida

Esto es solo un mensaje de bienvenida. Como las cosas funcionaron el sábado en el seminario, pero quiero que pueda crecer más la comunidad de blues (y como Bren siempre me empuja) decidi(mos) empezar esta pequeña idea de Blues Playground (marca no registrada). Esto va a ser una excusa para juntarnos, una excusa para compartir y mas que nada, va a ser mi excusa personal para juntarme a jugar blues mas seguido.
